Best of both worlds

Besides design, I love hanging out with my friends and I love food. To someday open my own little brunch café has long been a dream of mine, coming up with the concept for Gryning is a small step towards that goal. Gryning mixes daytime brunch with a fun nightlife scene. It's a relaxed café during the day that turns into a cozy bar in the evening, same spot, different energy. Whether you're in the mood for coffee, cocktails, or just hanging out with friends, Gryning's is the place to be.

With the branding for Gryning, I wanted to represent both day and night. By using two contrasting colors, dark blue and poppy pink, I wanted to represent both stages of Gryning. Together they work for both ocassions. The symbol is a rising sun, representing the brand name "Gryning" which means dawn in Swedish.
